The History of
Hydro-Dyne Engineering Inc. |
1978 Bruce Wiesemann, a mechanical engineer with over 40 years experience, began
manufacturing of precision sheet metal and close tolerance machined components. Repair
of worn and failed wastewater equipment provided opportunities to test new concepts. |
This
experience led to the creation of several ideas which resulted in a number of patents
still used in the water and wastewater treatment today.
1993- After several years of rapid growth, Bruce Wiesemann sold his company, Wiesemann
Engineering, to Wheelabrator Engineered Systems and retired from the industry. Wheelabrator
was later acquired by US Filter.
1995-1997- Bruce Wiesemann assists in the opening of a modern machining, laser and waterjet
cutting center. With many of the original employees returning to the same building, Bruce began
to develop new ideas and patents for the improvement of screening and solids handling products.
Manufacture and testing of newly patented water and wastewater screening products has begun.
January 2, 2002- After several years of designing equipment, Bruce Wiesemann has retired, again.
Jay Conroy, in addition to several employees of the original manufacturing shop, began Hydro-Dyne
Engineering. Emphasis is placed on high quality, reliability, ease of operation, performance,
and long term value.
Today Hydro-Dyne relies on the years of screen manufacturing experience to solve your water and
waste water screening problems. We are continuing to design and patent new equipment for unique
installations all over the world. The dedication of our employees is evident in everything we do
from service in the field to the production floor. When quality of manufacturing, excellence in
design, and customer service are vital, Hydro-Dyne Engineering is second to none. |
