Opening the Chilean Market in South America

ChileanMarketjpgGrowth in our international markets continues to be a burgeoning sector for our business. In our industry, the key to growth internationally is to identify and focus resources on the markets that have the right balance of a number of factors for long-term partnership. With so many opportunities for water treatment around the globe, we want to identify the best fits then make the investment necessary to develop a long term, successful market.
Hydro-Dyne Engineering recently participated in a trade mission to explore opportunities in Chile. Chile’s strong economy, mining industry, developed but aging wastewater treatment infrastructure and logistical ties to Tampa Bay make this market ideal for our business. Hydro-Dyne President Jay Conroy was accompanied by Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, Commissioners Les Miller and Karen Seel and other Bay area leaders to further develop the market for our technologies. Our time in country was extremely successful as we walked away with partnerships with their public and private sector leaders and we expect Chile to continue to be growing market for our business.
