Triden Screens Drives

One of the greatest improvements this screen has seen over the years is the drive. No longer does the screen rely on plastic or metal elements to index through the grid. Instead the screen's grid (black "dog-bones") is driven by two large sprockets. The sprocket are made entirely of stainless steel while the "dog-bones" are made of UHMWPE, resulting in little friction and long wear. Most importantly, no part of the drive touches the grid. Therefore, a bent grid element will not be compounded into a disabled screen.
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Drive
The hydraulically, or pneumatically, driven Triden Screen is one of the most innovative screens to hit the market in recent years. This drive is an excellent choice for industrial and municipal treatment plants alike. All hydraulic or pneumatic models are easily explosion proof, and are inherently variable speed. Available in both cylinder and gear reduce drives.
Through sensible design and material selection the Triden Screen is very efficient. So efficient, in fact, that our screen function very well even with one of the two cylinders disconnected. Patented ratchet drive design ensures positive connection and efficient operation.
Electric Drive
The Triden Screen with and electric drive is one of the most versatile screens on the market today. Resilience to weather, wear, and lack of maintenance make this model an excellent choice for virtually every installation.
Through sensible design and material selection the Fine Headworks Screen is very efficient. So efficient, in fact, that our standard screens have more than enough power with a 1/2 hp electric motor. Screens will be wired to suit applications phase and voltage supplies. Chain guards are standard on all electrical models, while explosion proof motors are optional.
