Hydro-Dyne’s Recent January & February Rep Training Events Considered a Huge Success

Rep-TrainingHydro-Dyne recently hosted two Rep Training events, at the end of January and beginning of February, at its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Clearwater, Florida. More than 17 manufacturer’s representative companies sent executives to attend. Sure, the Tampa Bay area enjoyed temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s during the events while the rest of the U.S. endured record-low temperatures. But you’d be surprised how no one mentioned that weather was the reason for the event’s success.

“I just love to learn,” said Bill Cannon, Templeton & Associates.

All kidding aside, we are very fortunate to have such a dedicated network of manufacturer’s representatives who took time out of their week to be with us during our past two training events. Attending reps toured Hydro-Dyne’s 110,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant to learn how the company’s engineering and manufacturing processes work together to build exceptional quality and value into each machine. Reps also visited multiple sites around the area to see Hydro-Dyne’s equipment operating first-hand.

New this year, attending reps learned about Hydro-Dyne’s Hammerhead Onsite Screen Sizing (HOSS) service, our advanced four-stage pickling process and our next-generation Thresher Shark Washing Machine.

A fun Assembly Challenge is held at every training event to see who can assemble a portion of a screen grid the fastest. Hydro-Dyne’s assembly experts average seven minutes, and the fastest time on record is 3:07. Joe Kelly with Templeton & Associates won the assembly challenge during our January Rep Training event with a respectable time of 12:27. And from our February training event, we are very pleased to announce that a new record was set! Brent Fulgham with Southern Sales won the day, and set the new rep record, with a time of 4:30!

We appreciate how hard our reps work on our behalf. If you couldn’t make it this past January or February, we look forward to seeing you at one of our next training events.
