A Beast is Born! Two Heavy Duty Through Flow Screens Headed to Oklahoma

BrokenArrowAt almost 33’-tall and nearly 5’-wide, the two Heavy Duty Bull Shark Through Flow Screens headed to the Haikey Creek Lift Station in Oklahoma are some of the larger screens ever manufactured by Hydro-Dyne Engineering.

The HD Bull Shark Screens will handle 42 MGD at peak flow with their 12mm laced link grid. In true homage to “Designed to Protect. Built to Perform.” the heavy duty frames on these Bull Sharks are built to withstand 8’ of headloss differential.

Once at the Haikey Creek Lift Station, the HD Bull Shark Screens will discharge screenings into a Spinner Shark Screw Conveyor, which will then transport the material to a Whitetip Shark Washing Compactor with cold weather/freeze protection.

No job is too big and no application too unique for our engineers and production personnel! As a matter of fact, we will be manufacturing the tallest Great White Center Flow screens in Hydro-Dyne history later this quarter – two of them! More on that in our next newsletter.
