Material Handler

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Locates, verifies, and stages materials and supplies in accordance with production work orders
  • Thoroughly documents quantities and locations of materials and supplies on production work orders
  • Keeps track of all orders and dispatches priority orders first, in accordance with production schedule
  • Maintains inventory by labeling materials and supplies in-stock and recording locations
  • Identifies deficits in inventory and assemblies while staging, and notifies management immediately
  • Issues materials and supplies against work orders by entering transactions in company ERP software in accordance with company procedure
  • Receives finished components to inventory and processes transactions in company ERP software
  • Returns unused materials and supplies to inventory from production as directed
  • Performs cycle counts to maintain the integrity of inventory
  • Prepares sales orders for shipment by verifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product as needed
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs or report to maintenance
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly

Machinist

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Set up and run CNC mill, lathe and router, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe, and Automatic Saw
  • Making sure the machine is set up properly, monitoring it during the process and documenting results
  • Perform basic math functions such as addition and subtraction
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly

Receptionist/Office Assistant

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Meets and greets all visitors to the Company; maintains visitor log, provides visitor badges or nametags and safety glasses for anyone entering the production area
  • Answers the phone and screens incoming calls, responding independently when possible or re-routing whenever necessary
  • Accurately takes and relays messages
  • Receives and sorts incoming mail and deliveries; prepares and mails outgoing materials
  • Performs general office duties including filing, faxing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of the Company
  • Maintains office supply and Company apparel inventory
  • Maintains and submits routine office supply procurement sheets
  • Assists with compilation of all Company literature for project profiles, literature folders, comment response sheets, submittals and O&Ms as requested
  • Keeps reception area organized and tidy

Welder

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Joins, fabricates and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
  • Mig/Tig pipe and plate .060 to 1.00 inch
  • Inspects grooves, angles or gap allowances, using micrometer, caliper and precision measuring tools
  • Removes rough spots from work-piece using hand tools when required
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the defined field
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly
  • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Lead Material Prep

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Works with and receives priority direction from Production Manager to ensure meeting of scheduled product ship dates
  • Assists in providing employees with sufficient training to ensure quality and efficient production of our products & assists team with day-to-day activities
  • Supervises employees within company guidelines by continuously offering corrective, disciplinary, or promotional actions
  • Assists in the employee review process within the department; maintains effective notes and writes employee reviews  Actively promotes manufacturing techniques, offers supportive ideas, and reports negligence
  • Assist in the continuous development of outlined department procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining and submitting routine departmental shop supply procurement sheets
  • Ability to inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the defined field
  • Planning: must be forward thinking with the ability to plan ahead
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
  • Keep department organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Direct and assist in pickling procedures
  • Liaison to department leads in regards to required, lost or misplaced materials
  • Gather parts from pallets and use power tools, air tools, tumbler and tapping arms to complete the material prep process
  • Grind, deburr and sand parts according to the drawing that is provided
  • Tap holes to proper size using mechanical tapping arm indicated by drawing
  • Performs all other duties as directed by Management

Material Prep

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Grind, deburr and sand parts according to the drawing that is provided
  • Look at part drawings to ensure finished product is correct
  • Make sure that all parts are not sharp before going to the next department
  • Tap holes to proper size using mechanical tapping arm indicated by drawing
  • Remove parts from pallets and into baskets using racks/hooks
  • Operate overhead crane to lift basket into chemicals
  • Wipe down/dry parts after removed from chemicals and rinsed
  • Clock in/out of travelers
  • Transport parts on numbered pallets with pallet jack or forklift
  • Record pallet location on paperwork before relocating to staging
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
  • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Performs other duties as directed by Management

Field Service Technician

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Installation – technical consultation and installation assistance to on-site personnel or contractor
  • Start-up – Customer pre-consultation, site readiness preparation, start-up monitoring, assist and train
  • Equipment maintenance – perform routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment
  • Basic single and three phase electrical knowledge
  • Repairs – repair machines and systems, determine correct tools required to perform job; maintain clean and high-quality work environment
  • Troubleshooting – determine cause of failure and take appropriate action to remedy the problem, make product improvement recommendations, assist with R&D efforts
  • Record Activity – create and maintain accurate service records, complete service trip reports, and record using appropriate software; i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Safety – comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times
  • Travel – up to 70% overnight within the U.S. and internationally (occasional weekends)
  • Dependability – is consistently at work and on time, follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

Receiving Inspection Clerk

Primary responsibilities include:

Receiving

  • Processes job, picking lists, bills of lading, and other like forms to ensure proper fulfillment
  • Package, weigh, and size finished components for shipment
  • Loads and unloads deliveries in a timely manner
  • Ensures appropriate documents are received and correct for all receivables in accordance with company policy
  • Processes receivables against printed purchase orders

Inspection

  • Accurately performs quality control check-in requirements on all incoming components
  • Inspects components per print for dimensional accuracy
  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual inspections and measurement tests
  • Identifies non-conforming materials
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports, forms, logs, or summaries, and inputs data into quality database
  • Ensures appropriate documents are received and correct for all receivables in accordance with company policy
  • Performs final inspection of all products and sales orders for accuracy prior to shipment

Project Manager

Primary responsibilities include:

Customer Communications

  • Main point of contact with the customer once the order is accepted and handed off by Sales
  • Obtain and establish clear delivery expectations from the customer and communicate to appropriate team members internally
  • Control scope change with the customer. including quoting and requesting Change Orders
  • Appropriate follow-ups with customer regarding submittal efforts and then production efforts

Internal Communications

  • Responsible for providing status report on each project at weekly production meeting
  • Must clearly communicate to team members required project milestones, and consequences if not met
  • Promote effective communications and foster constructive cross functional relationships within teams

Submittal Package Management and Preparation

  • Review Sales Request for Submittal and determine if all information has been provided, or reject with details of the information missing; work with Sales to resolve any issues prior to turnover to Engineering
  • Lead the submittal package effort and ensure that each step of the process is being followed
  • Monitor Engineering’s inputs to control scope creep
  • Manage all submittal efforts to meet commitment dates; try to control flow of approvals

Project Planning and Control

  • Develop project plan, schedule, and clearly define key project deliverables
  • Enter and manage project in ERP and other tools, including original Sales Order and Change Orders
  • Budget resources with Director of Engineering to meet design delivery schedules
  • Work with cross functional team to meet project delivery schedules
  • Monitor budgeted hours versus actual hours to control over runs in Engineering
  • Manage project schedules, tasks and Customer On-Time Delivery metrics using the project management tools and ERP system
  • Identify technical and/or functional problems that present risk; manage response to mitigate damage to schedule, customer satisfaction and cost

O&M Manuals

  • Assist in the generation of O&M Manuals

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain cohesiveness and provide guidance to the cross-functional team
