Customer Service Representative

Hydro-Dyne Engineering is looking for a Customer Service Representative based in Clearwater, Florida. This position requires someone willing to learn and understand our products. HDE designs and manufactures a highly specialized proprietary product line servicing municipal and industrial water treatment facilities around the world. Position Summary: Reach out and engage existing customers by telephone and email; keep precise records of all communications using the ERP system; promote, quote and sell service contracts, extended warranties, parts and rebuilds.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by providing informative, comprehensive descriptions of our service offerings.
  • Route customer inquiries and questions regarding equipment sales to inside Sales Manager.
  • Create, track and manage quotes and sales orders.
  • Escalate all customer concerns and complaints to Service Manager.
  • Provide world class customer support.
  • Become industry savvy, provide technical information and product specifications.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times.
  • Consistently at work and on time, follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Other responsibilities as required by Management.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required: skilled in oral and written communication, able to work constructively with customers and able to effectively explain function of equipment to customers.
  • Extremely well organized with a high level of attention to detail and documentation.
  • Must possess the desire to exceed customer expectations and hold customer satisfaction and retention paramount.
  • Strong time management skills and organizational skills, travel preparation and planning

Position Comp/Hours

  • This is a salary non-exempt position. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience and abilities.
  • Standard hours are 8:00am-5:00pm for the office and 6:30am-3:30am for the warehouse. Flexible and hybrid schedules may be available.
